HUD:
The US Department of Housing & Urban Development
(HUD) mission is to increase homeownership, support
community development and increase access to affordable
housing free from discrimination.
FHA:
The Federal Housing Administration, generally
known as "FHA", provides mortgage insurance
on loans made by FHA-approved lenders throughout
the United States and its territories. FHA insures
mortgages on single family and multifamily homes
including manufactured homes and hospitals.
VA:
The VA Loan Guaranty Service is the organization
within the Veterans Benefits Administration
charged with the responsibility of administering
the home loan program. Their Mission is to help
veterans and active duty personnel purchase and
retain homes in recognition of their service to
the Nation.
