Federal Regulatory Agencies:

OTS: Supervises savings associations and federally chartered savings banks.
OCC: Supervises national banks & federal branches of foreign banks.
FRB: Supervises financial institutions that are members of the Federal Reserve System, except national banks and federal branches of foreign banks.
FDIC: Supervises state chartered banks that are not members of the Federal Reserve System.
NCUA: Supervises Federal credit unions.
FTC: Supervises retailers, finance companies, creditors (including most mortgage companies) that are not assigned to another agency.
FFIEC: Interagency Council empowered to prescribe uniform principles, standards, and report forms for the above.
